1. Warner Bros. Harry Potter Studios
One place I have to go see is Warner Bros. Harry Potter Studios Tours! If you are a Potterhead this place is on the top of your bucketlist! The studio has many of the places where the Harry Potter movies were filmed.
2. Henry River Mill Village
Hunger Games was filmed in many locations but, District 12 is the most interesting one. This District 12 set was only used in ‘The Hunger Games’, and is still available for the public to see.
The Hobbiton village was used in the ‘Lord of the Ring’ and ‘Hobbit’ movies. You can go see the Hobbiton and tour areas where they filmed the Shire parts from the movies.
4. Chippewa Square
Chippewa Square is the location of the Forest Gump Bus Bench. Unfortunately the bench is an actual prop from the movie, and is no longer at that certain spot.
5. Hatley Park National Historic Site
This is the location where they filmed the outside of Professor X School for the X-Men films.
6. Cathedral Cove
Cathedral Cove is where they filmed Peter, Susan, Edmund, and Lucy arriving in Narnia at Cair Paravel in Prince Caspian.
7. Kings Cross Station
Kings Cross Station is where Harry Potter goes to Platform 9 3/4 to get to the Hogwarts Express, taking the young wizards to Hogwarts. At Kings Cross there is a trolley stuck half way into the way, where you can get a picture.
8. Charterhouse School
Charterhouse School is where they used the location for St. Vladimir’s Academy in the Vampire Academy. Even though the movie was terrible, I have to still go visit.
9. Fault In Our Stars Bench
Now I know going to this bench might be a little bit depressing, because this is when Augustus tells Hazel his cancer has spread. However I find this is an important part of the book/film and I need to visit the bench.
